Are there any dances in college

The majority of people go drunk. It's a great way to make friends. I dont think many schools have actual school dances though. Find an empty space on campus or go to the dorm lounge, bring some stereos and blast music with people.

There's also usually some kind of charity ball that all BU students are invited to. We also have a semi-formal every year. I would never compare them to high school dances, though Point Park University. Rutgers University.

Skidmore College. Slippery Rock University. Southern Methodist University. The Juilliard School. Towson University. University of Michigan. Whatever the case is, you gotta act on your own self interest. Also, there are plenty of other great ways to get involved at colleges but more on that later. Almost all colleges do not have prom.

College prom would require an extremely large room and resources to provide for students. Instead, most colleges have smaller parties through an organization at the college. There are lots of students that continue their education at the college well after senior year. And prom is almost to like celebrate students whose last days are coming. Colleges do have homecoming that takes place at the beginning of the year. College homecoming is a week-long event with an abundance of events on campus students can engage in.

College could have formal dances through sororities, fraternities or other organizations. In high school, I can think of about 3 formal dances: homecoming, WPA, and prom. In college, there is only about one which is homecoming. Lots of students by the time they reach college have grown out of the formal dances in high school. Also, colleges have WAY better ways students can engage and socialize.

There are club special events, campus wide events, and even day field trips but more on that later. Community colleges do not have any formal dances.

On top of having a large student population, community colleges diverse group of students. There are veterans, single moms, dads, straight out of high school students, older folks, students who are new to America, and many more.

However, there are plenty of ways to have and get involved. I personally go to community college and have attended many, many social gatherings through clubs and organizations.
